Whistleblower system

Integrity, acting responsibly and compliance with legal requirements are our top priorities.
To identify and investigate potential breaches at an early stage, we have set up a whistleblowing scheme.
This scheme allows reports of misconduct or breaches of rules to be made confidentially.

What can be reported?

You can provide feedback on the following topics in particular:

  • Data breaches
  • Corruption, fraud, or embezzlement
  • Violations of occupational safety regulations
  • Environmental violations
  • Other serious violations of the law

Who can submit a report?

Our reporting system is available to:

  • Employees
  • Former employees
  • Job applicants
  • Business partners, suppliers, and customers
  • Other third parties

How can reports be submitted?

Our internal reporting office is operated by the following external partner:

   d.works GmbH
   Email: hinweisgeber-salzer@doku.works
   Phone: +49 271 / 7 72 37 – 60
Address: d.works GmbH, Essener Straße 1, 57234 Wilnsdorf (Germany)

Reports can be made confidentially and, if desired, anonymously.

Confidentiality and Protection

All reports received will be treated as strictly confidential.
The identity of whistleblowers will be protected to the extent permitted by law.

Individuals who report information in good faith will not be disadvantaged.
The protection of whistleblowers is governed by the provisions of the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG).

Procedure

  1. You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt within 7 days.
  2. The reported matter will be investigated.
  3. If necessary, follow-up questions will be asked (this can also be done anonymously).
  4. Appropriate follow-up measures will be taken.
  5. You will receive an update on the status of the process within 3 months at the latest.

The processing is conducted in a neutral and confidential manner and in accordance with legal requirements.

Alternative government reporting office

Whistleblowers also have the option of contacting an external government reporting office.
In Germany, this is specifically the reporting office at the Federal Office of Justice (BfJ).
You can find further information and the option to file an external report there.
