With its switch-disconnectors, cam switches and other low-voltage switchgear, Sälzer offers a proven, German quality solution "Made in Germany". But quality alone is no longer enough. Digital product data is required for efficient engineering: CAD models, symbol libraries, connection and assembly information as well as parts list and article data. By integrating its products into the EPLAN Data Portal, Sälzer fulfills precisely this need.

Advantages for engineering

The direct availability of Sälzer products in the EPLAN environment eliminates the often time-consuming step of manually creating components or adding CAD data. Engineers can now integrate switch and component variants with complete technical data and CAD models directly into their EPLAN projects - including drilling patterns, connection information and mechanical installation spaces. A consistent database reduces the potential for errors and speeds up project processing considerably.

Sälzer's wide range of variants - thousands of configurations of switches with different designs, numbers of poles and accessories - is also systematically mapped using automated data preparation, so that even rare variants are quickly available in the portal.
